September 15 Declared National Curves Not for Sissies Day!

Curves founder Diane Heavin encourages Curves members to show their strength and spirit.

"We're not sissies!" say Curves members in the U.S. and Canada today.

"We have a great workout that builds muscle, burns fat and whittles away inches," says Curves founder Diane Heavin. "And today, we're celebrating our strength and showing our amazing Curves spirit."

Curves members all over Canada and the U.S. will be performing feats of strength today in their communities, wearing "CURVES NOT FOR SISSIES" T-shirts. Including a group in Ontario, Canada, who will attempt a tug-of-war with an elephant at the local zoo.

The Curves program has been scientifically proven to help women lose weight, gain muscle strength, raise metaobolism with aerobic activity, and contribute to healthy bones, muscles and joints.
