Teacher Loses 170 Pounds and is Selected as Curves' Most Amazing Member!

Rebecca's Story
When I first joined Curves on December 29, 2006,at the age of 30, I had been walking on a cane for a year, due to an injury that had caused me to be permanently handicapped. As the mom of a special needs child with Cystic Fibrosis, I needed to lose the weight not only to be able to help take care of my child better, but also for myself...my health literally depended on it. I walked in that day, weighing 306 pounds, wearing tight size 28 clothes, and having a BMI of 48.6%.
